Oak Lodge Sanitary District
The Oak Lodge Sanitary District serves a community of approximately 32,000, providing water reclamation services and watershed stewardship. The District came to Hank Schmidt to redesign their logo and develop messaging that describes and promotes the District's mission. The new identity was launched in conjunction with a 50 million dollar renovation of the sewage treatment plant. The Distrcit's rebranding included a signage program and public outreach program to mark the location of the district's watersheds. The graphic themes of these signs were then applied to other signage programs and to printed materials such as business cards and materials.

The new logo was applied to all of the district's vehicles and incorporated into the new entrance monument sign at the treatment plant. Hank Schmidt also designed and produced a series of interpretive signs that explain the processes involved in cleaning and reclaiming wastewater at the treatment plant.
